JOB TITLE: Operations Support Analyst (Intermediate)

LOCATION: Fort Greely, AK
REPORTS TO: SABG Site Lead
FLSA STATUS: Regular Full-Time Exempt
SUMMARY: SABG is hiring an Operations Support Analyst Advanced to support Warfighter Operational Integration work with the Missile Defense Agency to support the Government in the oversight and the execution of prime contractor maintenance scope of work. Provide oversight for all maintenance, and upgrade and engineering activities to include Corrective. Preventative Maintenance, schedule integration, failure investigations, GMD system modifications, Obsolescence Management/ Mitigation efforts, supply support and support equipment impacts, and test and training activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. Ideal candidates will have experience in the management and program analysis field relating to: military operational concepts/capabilities; integration and fielding of complex weapon systems; conducting strategic high-level coordination activities; deliberate planning; test support; logistics and sustainment; high-level policy development; requirements, and operational document development; cyber-security impacts on operations; problem solving; working independently and leading teams. Duties include:

  • Coordinate with vendors to facilitate site visits to Fort Greely, AK, in support of the Missile Defense Agency mission. Coordination includes but is not limited to security and access coordination, lodging, COVID reporting/protocols, stakeholder scheduling, and work authorizations.
  • Liaise with local Stakeholders, including the Prime Contract, Facility Contractors, the Fort Greely Garrison, the 49th Missile Defense Brigade, etc., to schedule and deconflict site projects.
  • Facilitate readiness reviews for upcoming projects
  • Monitor the execution of projects through completion; provide updates to Stakeholders
  • Coordinate and develop itineraries for distinguished visitors
  • Develop and deliver briefings to the FGA leadership, local community and other stakeholders to distribute important information related to site activities, exercises, events, etc.

SUPERVISION: This position has no supervisory responsibilities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of the team and assists with solving complex problems. Advanced level working knowledge, skills, and abilities using Microsoft Office. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6 years’ experience must be in the missile defense industry
  • 7 years’ operational experience

GM experience preferred
COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
  • Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
