Career Opportunity: Technical Support Specialist – Matrix Systems – Dayton, OH

Matrix Systems is an industry leader in access control and security management solutions. We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist in Dayton, Ohio. You will create and maintain service cases, research, and resolve first level access control / video software / hardware questions, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. In addition, you will be responsible to:
- Identify customers' request via phone or email.
- Understand question/problem and identify responsible party.
- Create service cases and work orders.
- Research and provide accurate and complete information by using the provided methods/tools.
- Follow up with internal and external customers.
- Maintain customer records by updating account and case information.
- Customer training, as assigned.
- On-call rotation typically 1 week/month, as assigned.
To qualify for this great opportunity, you should have:
- Past experience in technical support environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Extreme attention to detail, organized, and accurate with effective problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of MS SQL is a plus.
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring is a plus.
- Successful completion of background check and ability to work 40 hours per week minimum.
