What are the responsibilities and job description for the HSE Advisor position at Stream-Flo?

Key position functions include:
- Support the HSE group and business to perform all HSE functions for the facilities of the South, Texas region
- Conduct Inspections as required (Documented Compliance, Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lighting, Eye Wash, Etc.) rack and provide all 3rd party training as required to compile with OSHA and Corporate HSE Standards policies
- Visit regularly each location in the region to monitor compliance with Corporate HSE Standards: (Monthly at a minimum but bi-weekly is preferred)
- compliance inspections, training, toolbox meetings
- Conduct thorough incident investigations in primary areas and provide timely updates to management on corrective and preventative measures and any gaps in policies or procedures
- Remain abreast of USA HSE regulatory requirements and provide the business with notification to pending changes
- Through example create a culture of learning and reporting to enable the business to identify and eliminate risk as far as practical
Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:
- Two years of previous experience involved in an HSE-related position. (Oil Field Setting is Preferred)
- AAS in Safety Related Field (Interchangeable with other education and/or experience)
- Strong work ethics and drive to eliminate incidents is essential for this position
- Strong sense of urgency is imperative for this position
- Strong communication and computer skills are a must
