What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Manager position at Stream-Flo?

Key position functions include:
- Manage Internal QMS audits and facilitate API Q1/Q2 and ISO9000 Registration
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards, , engage cross-functional teams to drive the improvement actions with a team mindset
- Prepare, Issue, and maintain QMS and Product Quality Records as required by SFI and its customers
- Monitor implementation of all SFI QA/QC procedures and revise where necessary
- Supervise QC and NDE Inspection and facilitate training where required
- Identify root causes and corrective actions for manufacturing related NCR’s
- Facilitate Risk Management, Management of Change and Contingency planning
- Ensure proper and timely response for corrective and preventive actions
- Facilitate resolution of field nonconformances/customer complaints in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Perform audits on internal quality processes for compliance and effectiveness
- Conduct internal QMS audits to improve effectiveness of QMS
- Ensure documents of external origin related to QMS are current (example API/ISO Standards)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance to QMS requirements and foster quality-focused culture
- Performs other related duties as requested by management
- Ensure compliance with Stream-Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations and policies.
Preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university; combination of relevant education and higher experience may be considered
- 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment
- Solid QMS experience in an API 6A Manufacturing facility in development, implementation, and maintenance of API Q1; product knowledge of quality control requirements of API 6A an asset
- Quality Assurance, Lead Auditor Training / Certification
- Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
- Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Fluent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); SharePoint and/or SAP experience an asset
