Homewatch Caregivers® is a non-medical, in-home care agency. We provide unique care to adults of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities in the comfort and safety of their preferred residence. We are currently seeking a compassionate, patient, and active individual to provide support to one of our intellectually disabled clients. This client is a young adult male and is located in the Levittown, PA area. Our main priority is to help him increase his independence, strengthen his life skills, and accomplish his goals.
He is an active young man, who enjoys going on community outings, working out, and learning new recipes. As someone with an intellectual disability, this client will require a patient caregiver who he can depend on and feel safe with. He would prefer a male caregiver. There is an older dog in the house as well. This particular client does not require any personal care, just occasional prompting and reminders as needed.

Responsibilities/Job Duties
- Supervise and assist client in preparing meals and ensuring proper nutrition. This client has a goal of learning/practicing one new recipe each week.
- Accompany client on community outings, appointments, and social engagements. This client enjoys going to the gym.
- Interact and engage with client through conversation, education, and emotional support. This client will need help understanding his personal finances.
- Make appropriate accommodations to promote autonomy and increase independence.
