Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our 3PL company. The SDR will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers for our 3PL services, as well as following up on leads and closing sales. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for sales and business development.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential customers who may require logistics services, such as transportation, warehousing, distribution, and other supply chain solutions
- Use various channels, including email, phone, and social media, to reach out to potential customers and qualify them based on specific criteria, such as their logistics needs, budget, and timeline
- Follow up on leads and engage with potential customers to understand their logistics needs and demonstrate the value that our 3PL services can offer
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential customers
- Negotiate terms of the agreement and close sales
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and lead data in our CRM system
- Continuously improve sales processes and tactics to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Attend industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to expand our reach and identify new business opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Experience using CRM systems, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the sales process
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing market and industry trends
- Must be willing to travel occasionally as required
