The Director, Supply Chain Operations leads the logistics processes and vendor relationships related to materials forecasting, procurement, kitting, shipping and reclamation/re-use. They are the point of integration between all 3rd party logistics and fulfillment providers and Stride.

- Directs the $60M Materials operation encompassing areas of deployment, freight, fulfillment, warehouse operations, returns, refurbishment and inventory valuation.
- In partnership with VP Operations and other key stakeholders, maps the strategic plan for the Material operation function to meet the current and future needs of the K12 powered schools.
- Sets, manages and reports KPIs and SLAs for third party fulfillment providers related to student materials, refurbished laptops and refurbished printers.
- Provides direction to Stride resources and vendors to ensure the operation is meeting/beating Materials spend forecast, adjusted for volume, rate and mix changes.
- Monitors all warehouse operations on a daily basis to ensure fulfillment related Customer Satisfaction SLAs are meet or exceeded.
- Analyzes monthly financial and operational results to ensure we are meeting budget and targets.
- Leads all daily interaction with 3rd party providers, including UPS, which is a key inventory services provider.
- Performs high-level analysis of materials assets, makes recommendations for process, cost savings and service improvements to executive leadership in order to implement appropriate adjustments.
- Oversees the production of all kitted course materials with third party logistics (3PL) vendor (UPS);
- Ensures thorough and accurate reporting is provided in a timely manner to all stakeholders, including schools, FP&A, Accounting, School Operations and PD as necessary.
- Manages transportation vendors.
- Leads a small team of Stride supply chain personnel
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 2-5 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ten (10) years of progressive experience managing operational processes, logistical processes, vendor relationships OR
- Previous experience with direct supervision/management of people

- Up to 10% of travel expected to visit vendors and conduct quarterly meetings.
- Ability to pass required background check

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
We anticipate the salary range to be $118,258.13 to $203,181. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
