Human Resources Generalist
The Human Resources (HR) Generalist’s main focus is to direct, organize, plan, and develop the implementation and administration of human resources functions and carry out policies and procedures relating to all phases of human resources activities. The HR Generalist will oversee activities relating to employment rules and regulations, staffing, employee education and training, management development, labor relations including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, workers compensation administration, benefits administration, and salary administration.

The HR Generalist will report directly to the CFO.
Responsibilities
· Recruit new talent using various platforms and coordinate with department managers to identify necessary skills and positions needed. Perform reference and background checks on all new hires.
· Conduct interviews, facilitate onboarding, and administer new hire orientations and trainings.
· Manage routine HR tasks such as new employee onboarding, compensation updates, disciplinary actions, and employee recognition programs.
· Assists with various Benefit administration duties including the enrollment of new hires, processing of any benefit changes, and resolving employee inquiries and concerns regarding benefit coverages
· Support various payroll duties including entering new hires, removing terminated employees and other change requests and addressing associates’ payroll-related issues and questions.
· Develop and implement company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all Federal and State laws.
· Stay updated on trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in HR, talent management, and employment law.
· Facilitate employee reviews and manage employee injuries and accident reports
· Address employee concerns and maintain formal training and development plans
· Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all HR tasks within the company.
Qualifications
· SHRM or PHR certification a preferred.
· Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, General Studies or Business or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with a company of 100 employees or more in an HR Generalist.
· Experience working with HRIS software systems.
· Highly detail oriented with exceptional organization and prioritization skills, and proven ability to meet hard deadlines.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and work on a variety of tasks while maintaining the highest degree of accuracy and integrity.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with high professionalism.
· Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
