Job Posting for Business Operations Specialist at Stromasys

The Business Operations Specialist manages the flow of the workplace and optimizes day-to-day sales and business activities. He/she will improve and support the operations of Stromasys so that we are more effective and efficient to better serve our customers. 

Main Job Responsibilities

  • Process incoming Purchasing Orders (PO) and complete supplier registration on customer’s portal; check that orders comply with standard or special pricing agreement
  • Create software licenses and updates
  • Maintain sales operations related data (Account data, License database,etc.)
  • Register opportunities, including registering partners in Salesforce and other tools
  • Keep customer information and databases up-to-date
  • Perform general clerical sales administration
  • Perform contract administration (maintain and filing contracts in repository & Salesforce)
  • Assist with other sales and financial reporting
  • General office administration
  • Office maintenance: keep inventories, manage office supplies, and correspondence
  • Organize physical office space, assist with leases, office equipment purchases and telecommunications vendors, as needed
  • Assist with new hire set-up
  • Provide logistics support for periodic training sessions and company meetings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
  • Adaptable, positive and supportive team player

 Secondary Job Responsibilities

  •  General office administration
  • Office maintenance: keep inventories, manage office supplies, and correspondence
  • Organize physical office space, assist with leases, office equipment purchases and telecommunications vendors, as needed
  • Assist with new hire set-up
  • Provide logistics support for periodic training sessions and company meetings


Qualifications and skills

  • Detail-oriented, problem-solver with the ability to look at the bigger picture
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SalesForce, and general office procedures
  • High self-initiative with the ability to multi-task

 Experience/Education

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a business-related function
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of business experience
  • Technology or software experience useful, but not required
  • Experience with sales teams, sales partners or b2b customers
