Title:

• Sheet Metal Fabrication Technician, Roofing Construction Services Group

Primary Function:

• Performs Sheet Metal Fabrication in the shop operating a computerized sheet metal brake and an electric sheet metal guillotine shear. Perform installation on commercial roofs, and assist Roofing Construction Services group.

Reports To:
Roofing Construction Services Group/Building Products Group Manager
Responsibilities:

• Fabricate sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications while using computerized folding machines and a guillotine shear.
• Assist in maintaining order and organization within the warehouse and help with the Construction Services Group Roofing team as necessary.
• Perform work in accordance with job specification s and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with customers and other employees.

Other Skills:

• Must be reliable and able to work on-call during weekends and holidays.
• Must work well under pressure.
• Must be able to pay close attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of documented commercial flat roofing experience and be familiar with commercial roofing systems such as Single Ply, Built-up, Modified Bitumen, Metal Roof Assembly and Green Roof systems.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions such as:
• Lift 50 lbs. regularly, repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
• Ability to climb a ladder 40'.
• Ability to work in extreme climates.
• Comfortable with heights

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
