What you will do
In the Associate Marketing Communications Manager role, you will be a key member of the team, shaping Orthopaedic Instruments’ brand internally and externally. You will collaborate with a variety of key stakeholders across the organization to lead the creative direction and messaging for marketing and promotional resources, with an emphasis on digital channels, while also supporting internal communication initiatives.
Responsibilities may include:
Develop persuasive, benefit-driven messaging to articulate value propositions to different customer groups in alignment with their needs
Support the development and authoring of Commercialization Plans for launches and Annual Marketing Plans, translating strategies into actionable tactics
Provide creative direction for marketing and promotional materials including messaging, collateral development, digital and advertising strategies
Experiment with new and innovative concepts and design principles to maximize impact
Leverage the different marketing channel strategies, tracking impact and making strategic channel decisions based upon ROI
Assess competitive insights, adjusting messaging, strategy and tactics as needed
Serve as a brand steward, adhering to, promoting, training and integrating Stryker’s visual and verbal brand guidelines within the business
Develop presentations for self and others, organizing keys points and supporting information in a visually stimulating and concise manner for the target audience
Support internal communication needs including editorial calendar management, template development, platform maintenance, tracking and reporting
Support sales enablement platforms to ensure more current collateral materials and communication templates are available
Drive the digital presence for the business, implementing innovative solutions that bridge mobile, social, email and digital media
Drive day-to-day social media channel management including crafting, curating, planning, scheduling, posting and analyzing digital content via multiplatform environments
Develop and manage key vendor and agency relationships
Develop and maintain project calendars to establish priorities track project status and deliverables
Identify, track, analyze and report on key metrics
Manage activity budgets and related expenses, reporting as necessary
What you need
Bachelor's degree required
6+ years of work experience required
3+ years medical device or marketing/sales experience preferred
Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator)
