Overview
Stryten Energy, a new company name with a long history in the Milwaukee, WI area, manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.
You will be responsible for overall management of injection molding department. Manage and lead the team to maximize output of quality products at minimum costs.
Responsibilities

- Safety is our overriding priority. If an unsafe condition is found to exist, actions must be taken immediately to correct the situation to keep all team members safe and get manufacturing equipment operational as soon as possible.
- Embraces and follows the work and safety rules and wears all required personal protective equipment.
- Follow and enforce all safety rules and regulations. Review work areas for safety compliance and safe work conditions.
- Investigate, document, and report each and all safety incidents and near misses according to policy before leaving at the end of the assigned shift.
- Responsible for helping create and achieve production goals and objectives for the injection molding department.
- Communication, leadership, and coaching the of the team in order to achieve the set goals and objectives.
- Management and supervision of the injection molding operations team.
- Complete and administer employee performance reviews as required.
- Responsible for tracking and communicating performance metrics to upper management.
- Participates in and contributes to quarterly Management Review.
- Propose and implement improvements that will reduce product cost, increase output, increase uptime, decrease expenses, and provide a better and safer work environment.
- Must complete all required hazardous waste training and comply with all TRM hazardous waste and handling procedures.
- Attend all Management meetings and training sessions, safety committee meetings, and all employee meetings as required by upper management.
- Other responsibilities as assigned to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience supervising or managing a manufacturing production team or related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and work that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Skills
- Good attendance and performance work history.
- Must be fluent with Microsoft Office.
- Must complete a forklift driving program.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
- Able to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
- Ability to communicate accurately and comfortably with all levels of management.
- Motivated self-starter that is able to productively work alone and in groups to solve problems.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing & verbal skills).
