Role: Maps Design Operation
Location: New York, New York
We would like to see someone that has:
• Experience in a fast-paced, technology-focused e-commerce marketplace
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
• Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly
• Excellent time-management skills in order to meet aggressive productivity targets
• Comfort working with and managing large data sets
• Strong collaboration skills with distributed teams
• Inquisitive by nature with a strong bias for actively resolving issues using strong analytical skills
It would be great to see someone with:
• A passion and fan of all things live entertainment (sports, concerts, festivals and theater)
• SQL skills a plus!
• Strong familiarity with Adobe Illustrator
In this Maps Operation Design role at StubHub, you’ll be:
Responsible for both the graphical design of venue-level seat maps as well as the underlying data that powers their interactivity. Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment is necessary to ensure strong site performance and customer experience.
• Researching and curating seat map references for both venue- and event-level seat maps
• Translating reference materials into complete and accurate section data
• Designing SVG seat maps and link to section data
• Maintaining accurate seller inventory section mappings
• Troubleshooting issues with seat maps and provide guidance to external teams
• Supporting ad hoc projects as the need arises
• Supporting continuous process refinement by participating in testing and brainstorming sessions

The anticipated gross annual salary range for this role is $55,000 – $60,000 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes bonus, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
