The Role: StubHub Paralegal
StubHub is seeking a paralegal to support its corporate, contracts, and legal operations functions. This position will support various StubHub lawyers on a day-to-day basis. This position is based in our San Francisco, California office.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Corporate Legal Entity Support:
- Prepares and files corporate minutes, written consents and maintains and updates current versions of governance docs (bylaws and articles/cert of incorporation).
- Prepares and manages calendar of state and federal corporate filings, licenses, registrations to do business, and renewal documents and other corporate documents as needed.
- Manages corporate agents and legal representatives within and outside the U.S.; obtains notarizations, apostilles, legalized documents, certified copies, corporate filings and other corporate documents as needed.
Contract Management:
- Maintenance and ownership of contract repository in DocusignCLM/SpringCM, including ensuring signed documents are filed, reminding business of upcoming renewal deadlines and expirations.
- Obtains internal approvals for signature and obtaining electronic signatures by internal signers and third parties using DocuSign.
- Assists in development and implementation of contract review and management processes.
Legal Ops:
- With litigation paralegal, manages legal vendors and contracts, including law firm engagement letters and billing guidelines.
- Manages eBilling system functioning, providing backup support and general oversight of the day-to-day billing work of the legal admin.
- Provides project management assistance on various Legal Department initiatives.
- Supports other special legal projects as requested, such as compliance inquiries and executes a variety of substantive and administrative legal support matters.
Key Work Experience:
- At least 5 years of substantive paralegal experience, including at least 2 years supporting an in-house legal team
- Experience with electronic signature tools and contract management processes/systems (electronic or other)
- Experience with legal billing and managing outside counsel invoices
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable with a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
