Position: Dial Screener
Position Guide: Non-Certified Personnel 9 Months
Function: Pre – School Screener or Hearing and Vision Screener.
Reports To: Child Service Specialist
Director of Special Education Services

Parents
Qualifications: Associates Degree or Minimum High School Diploma
State of Illinois Hearing/Vision Certification
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be able to speak, read and write English
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an interpreter for students, staff, and parents.
- With proper certification, screen district students for vision and hearing.
- Compile and enter hearing and vision result data into a district computer program in an efficient and timely manner.
- File and organize results from preschool screenings and submit the information to the assigned coordinator.
- File and organize results from hearing and vision and submit the information to the assigned coordinator.
- Performs all other responsibilities as assigned by the Child Service Specialist or Director of Special Education or Designee.
