What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter/Laborer position at Studio Shed?

Position Summary:

The Studio Shed Manufacturing Associates are responsible for layout, build, panels, walls, and roofing that are assembled by the customer on-site. The paint employee will work with team members to cut, sand, and paint siding materials according to design specifications. They will work with team members to operate panel saws, edge siding materials, and package siding materials by size. They will work with team members to paint roof rafters and sheathing, inform the team leader of project completion and to prep next work order. They will work with team members to sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain the organization of the paint department. They will become an asset to their team members and the Studio Shed production crew.

Able to read drawings and understand project orders.

Able to work safely and meet daily demand schedules.

Able to work in team an environment and a production ecosystem.

Able to follow direction under production management team.

Able to reliably arrive to work on time.

Able to perform tasks required and be willing open to learn more.

Able to have a positive attitude and work with the team.

Required Skills/Willingness to Learn:

· Ability to stand for the duration of a shift.

· Ability to lift 75lbs with team members to waist height safely and repeatedly.

· Ability to learn how to read drawings and perform assembly tasks.

· Hand tool and power tool utilization.

· Ability to meet design specifications and measurements per the project order.

· Craftmanship and ability to meet quality specifications.

· Clear, calm, and concise communication skills.

· Teamwork and ability to be flexible with daily work assignments and tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
