Job Purpose:

The ESOS Training Coordinator is a member of the Compliance and Quality Assurance team, reporting directly to the Compliance and Risk Director APAC. The ESOS Training Coordinator is responsible for creating and providing innovative training materials in collaboration with the Subject Matter Experts (SME) to educate the Sales, Admissions and Marketing teams on the Australian ESOS framework. The ESOS Training Coordinator will assist with developing minimum training requirements and activities in line with the Compliance team’s road map and project targets.

Key Responsibilities:

General

  • Be a collaborative and effective member of the Compliance and Quality Assurance team.
  • Attend working groups and forums as directed.

Compliance

  • Assist with duties relating to compliance issues raised by the business to resolution, co-ordinating with internal / external SMEs and keeping all stakeholders updated on progress.
  • Work with colleagues across GCQR to collate current training guides and identify areas of improvement.
  • Participate in ANZ projects and initiatives as directed by the Compliance and Risk Director APAC.
  • Collaborate with global Study Group colleagues (as required).
  • Have an understanding of relevant areas within the ESOS Framework
  • Perform ad-hoc duties when requested.

Training

  • Collaborate with ANZ Compliance to develop a plan for creating and delivering annual training
  • Collect all SME information and current training guides together to identify areas of improvement and gaps in information/knowledge
  • Work with the SAM Excellence team to create plan and training materials
  • Create innovative ways of delivering the training, in the form of, but not limited to, manuals, presentations quizzes and case studies
  • Establish a set of processes outlining specific subjects to satisfy minimum training requirements based on each team’s needs.
  • Lead the coordination and delivery of training and development sessions both independently and in collaboration with SME’s.
  • Future-proof training materials for ease of subsequent reviews and implement a training schedule for the ANZ Compliance team to follow for 2023.
  • Identify and report on opportunities for continuous improvement.

Selection Criteria

Qualifications & Training

Bachelor degree (or similar)

Experience Required:

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role or within an international education environment
  • Preferred 2 years’ working experience in a L&D and instructional design.
  • Some understanding of regulatory regimes associated with the delivery of Foundation and English programs to international students in Australia and New Zealand
  • Strong interpersonal skills
