STV currently has an opening in either our Douglassville, Philadelphia or Harrisburg PA offices for a Bridge Inspection Group Leader in our Transportation and Infrastructure division. Successful candidate will be a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of bridge engineering industry practices and capable of solving a wide range of bridge engineering design, analysis and inspection challenges. Using demonstrated progressively sophisticated experience, you will apply it to bridge engineering methods and technologies for a wide range of projects. In addition, you will also have experience using independent judgment managing technical staff with day-to-day project work, producing technical deliverables for bridges and other structures associated with transportation engineering projects. Experience with alternative delivery methods such as design/build and accelerated bridge construction is also desirable.
Leading our bridge inspection practice and team
Completing engineering design, analysis and executing technical decisions to achieve successful high-quality project delivery for complex and non-complex highway bridge replacements, rehabilitations and preservations.
Supporting the Pennsylvania Business Manager in the pursuit of new work with marketing and proposal development.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (MS Degree is a plus)
A minimum of 11 years of experience.
Pennsylvania Professional Engineering License
Experience with bridge engineering design and analysis software including Microstation and standard Microsoft Office Suite of products are required.
