About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to support our Development Governance team as an Assistant Operations Manager based in Shelton, CT. The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for supporting operations excellence for both national and Non-Traditional programs and initiatives. This role also plays a critical role in defining the operations approach and training for non-traditional innovation programs as the team prepares them to scale across the system.
Working closely with the Senior Manager, Non-Traditional Operations, the Assistant Operations Manager will be responsible for Grab & go program operations, including vendor management, defining operational standards, creating playbook and support materials, partnering with the Operations team to develop training for franchisees, and to train internal operations and field teams. This role will also play a key role in the ongoing program testing, preparations to scale, and ultimately the national launch of the program as well as supporting global teams also wanting to launch the program in the future. During test and upon launch, the Assistant Operations Manager will monitor program performance across participating restaurants, report out to Non-Trad leadership and partners on that performance, and recommend actional improvements based on the data collected.
In addition to managing Grab & go, this role is also responsible to support the Senior Operations Manager in activating general company initiatives across Non-Traditional channels, accounting for over 5,000 restaurants. And as new need states are defined, partnering with the extended Non-Traditional team to develop, plan, and coordinate new innovative initiatives.
Across all responsibilities, the Assistant Operations Manager will communicate key updates with Non-Traditional team and franchise partners to ensure alignment and adherence.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Own and Manage Grab & go program operations.
- Support activating company initiatives across Non-Trad channels.
- Vendor Management.
- Budget Management and Invoicing.
- 1 years of experience. Prior Subway experience a plus.
- Define, scale, roll out programs from incubation to test, to launch.
- Track sales and unit data to identify incremental sales opportunities via Grab & go.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Analyze data monthly and report on anomalies or errors.
- Prepare collected data in support of successful program sell-in to franchisees and key MUO partners.
- Serve as main point of contact for franchisees interested in program and those already participating.
- Support franchisee program onboarding.
- Ensure program page & resources are accurate and updated as needed.
- In partnership with nutrition team, maintain nutritional information for Grab & go products.
- Support Senior Operations Manager in activating company initiatives across Non-Trad channels.
- Waiver review and application.
- Co-brand management support.
