The Store Manager performs and directs overall restaurant management to ensure customers receive the best service possible and maximize profitability of the location. To include, direct and manage staff to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. In addition to restaurant safety and security.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest possible standards of customer service, and management of staff.
- Prepare bank deposits daily and make deposits according to company guidelines/procedures. Complete and transmit all reports accurately and timely.
- Manage staff performance. Recruit, hire, train, develop, counsel, coach, discipline, evaluate, recommend pay increases and, when necessary, terminate store staff.
- Ensure the security of company assets and comply with all local, state and federal laws.
- Increase food sales and ensure that all food/drinks are being sold at company prescribed retail prices.
- Control expenses within the scope of authority granted.
- Wear a full uniform as described in the company policy maintaining the highest physical appearance standards possible at all times HSG is being represented.
- Ensure all safety/security procedures are practiced and that no unsafe conditions exist at any time.
- Maintain HSG operating hours, as directed by the District Manager. This includes personally remaining available to cover shifts in an emergency situation to ensure the operation of the location.
- Communicate pertinent information, problems and opportunities to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Implement applicable programs as developed by other departments such as marketing and advertisement.
- Make deposits daily, Monday for the prior Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tuesday for Monday, Wednesday for Tuesday, Thursday for Wednesday and Friday for Thursday. Shortages of deposits will warrant investigation by District Manager and could result in immediate termination depending on the outcome of the investigation.
