Overview: The Regional Manager must be an excellent leader. First and foremost, the main responsibility of the REG. MGR is the development & support of our management team. We can’t operate successful restaurants without a strong team led by strong leaders. The GM should be continually seeking out new ways to grow self, our team, build accountability and support our team.
The REG. MGR will report directly to General Manager and will be an incredible asset to report on the good- the bad- and the ugly from the field.
Requirements: people first attitude, strong leader, good communication skills, knowledge of brand policy, knowledge of profitability, and strong knowledge of operations.

Essential Job Functions
Daily
- Work alongside managers and team serving guests and extending feedback where needed
- Ensure all team is following strict food safety requirements
- Ensure deposits are taken to the bank daily
- Stay connected with management team and help management team as necessarye
- Review labor, ensure labor goals are met, and make adjustments if needed
- Respond to all guest comments within 24 hours and extend learning from comments back to manager and team
Weekly
- Support and model the our value that “people matter”
- Foster “cultural buy-in” among managers
- In-restaurant observation & coaching with a focus (but not limited to) managers.
- Confirm appropriate food orders are being made
- Confirm inventory is being completed accurately
- Help managers identify operational trends / improvements needed based on learnings from the WISR (weekly inventory report)
- Keep a pulse on what’s happening in the territory and within the brand; stay current on emails, conference calls, etc.
- Maintain strong communication with each manager and ensure managers have strong restaurant communications o Ex: manager group text, store group texts, shift change “huddles” etc.
Monthly
- Facilitate and host manager meetings
- Complete self evaluations (Self REV) in each store
- Complete prevent. maintenance in each store
- Schedule maintenance repair as needed
- Attend key conference calls
- Oversee team chats & offer support as needed
- Create rollout plans for all marketing windows and new initiatives
Quarterly or As Needed:
- Incorporate healthy systems to strengthen your leadership skills
- Review corporate evaluations and complete corrective action plans (CAPs)
Additional Responsibilities
- Complete manager performance reviews once per year
- When working in a restaurant, the REG. MGR will punch in and out just as other team members do
- The REG. MGR will create a weekly schedule and keep up-to-date. There is a lot that will happen that a REG. MGR won’t be able to plan for however not having a plan is not acceptable.
Canidate Profile
POSITION TITLE: Regional Manager REPORTS TO: General Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
The regional manager performs and directs overall restaurant management among their assigned 4-7 Subway restaurants. Directs teams to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Maintains standards of restaurant safety and security. Recruits staff and oversees training program. Responsible for inventory and money control systems. Responsible for local marketing initiatives – may contact prospective customers to promote sales. Maintains business records.
Exceptional leadership and strong communication skills are a major component of this position. The regional manager will report to the General Manager. We are looking to fill this position immediately.
Location:
The regional manager will be assigned to oversee 4-7 Subway restaurants in the following Wisconsin areas:
- Luxemburg
- De Pere
- Wrightstown
- Kaukauna
- Menasha
- New London
Prerequisites:
Education: High school diploma or higher.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff preferred.
