Suddath will provide training and resources to maximize success for this individual who will be a key member of the accounting team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Bill monthly storage for all branches
- Rate local storage files for all branches
- Accurately set up all perm storage billing for all branches
- Calculate COD amounts on shipments delivering from warehouse
- Provide SIT files to Billing Specialist for conversion to perm
- Complete and send conversion packets
- Audit and pay out of area invoices when billing monthly perm storage (when applicable)
- Maintain all storage billing, including updates
- Storage reporting, as needed
- Analyze contracts, tariffs, and relocation paperwork for revenue and profit opportunities
- Rate D/A only moves in the Mayflower/Unigroup system according to applicable relocation contract and tariff
- Enter all rating information into the Mover’s Suite system, record revenue for each branch involved, create A/R for the booking branch, record commission and expense for the driver within 96 hours (4 days) of paperwork receipt, record commission for the sales person
- Reconcile recorded revenue to the Mayflower/Unigroup Revenue Distribution Statement (DSPR)
- Reconcile the Van line Receivable (weekly preferred, monthly is mandatory)
- Be available to answer questions related to tariffs, contracts, or specific moves when asked by Daryl Flood personnel, the driver, the move counselor, the shipper, third party auditors or Mayflower/Unigroup personnel
- Other duties as required
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or above. Some college or Associates/Bachelors Degree are preferred, but not required with applicable experience. two (2) years accounting or industry experience preferred.

- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications such as move management, accounting/billing, HRIS, timekeeping and other applications used in the performance of job duties.

- Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workday
- Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize work
