Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Determine analytical objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; documenting specifications to encapsulate the business service delivery needs Work closely with team members to identify opportunities to improve Sterling Lexicon analytics by studying current practices, industry trends and identifying needs, with a focus on the short and long term corporate technology goals Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures Build KPI dashboards by working within business measurement plan milestones, phases and elements Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client group Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and assist leadership in developing integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making Plan and coordinate the development of process and time studies in support of strategic planning and operational initiatives, as required and presents findings of studies Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports Support and communicate the differences of Run the Business (RtB) and Change the Business (CtB) when requests for changes and enhancements are submitted. Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of requests, gather expected costs and submit potential charge-back to the business via ROI analysis in partnership with Innovation leader Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues Supervisory Responsibilities: Requirements: This position does not require direct reports but does require the need to work with groups of people, facilitate meetings and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to complete assigned tasks. Education & Experience: Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience Related Experience 10 years in moving and transportation industry with progressive growth Project management experience Business requirements documentation skills and/or participation requirements delivery TRAVEL: Some travel may be required but very limited. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Operations: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications such as move management, accounting/billing, HRIS, timekeeping and other applications used in the performance of job duties. Knowledge of, and experience with, ARIVE applications, PowerBI, Microsoft Excel, and Sql Queries is particularly important.
