Job Summary:
The Warehouse team performs various product fulfillment duties in our Coppell 3PL warehouse. Warehouse Associates will pack and ship products to fulfill order requirements. Equipment operators will use a variety of powered industrial equipment (cherry picker, forklift, reach truck) to move, pick, load, unload and store product and inventory in the warehouse. Other various warehouse duties will be performed when not operating a forklift.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Perform warehouse worker duties related to full cycle picking of orders that may include: operation of cherry picker, forklift, and/or reach truck, pick products according to que, load products, assist with in-bound orders, assist with packing as needed.
• Accurately document all inbound product, noting exceptions. Record put away location.
• Ensure orders are selected accurately and timely, within departmental standards.
• Prepare goods for outgoing shipping.
• Inspect incoming goods and handle inbound product in a manner that does not damage product.
• Safely move goods from one point to another within the warehouse and onto/off of awaiting trailers.
• Inventory equipment
• Performs additional tasks as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Previous cherry picker and/or forklift experience required for Equipment Operator positions. Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one within 120 days.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Work is primarily performed in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment. May be exposed to varying weather elements. Frequently bends, stoops, and stands for long periods of time. Requires lifting and stacking of items up to thirty (30) pounds above head, and lifting and stacking items up to sixty five (65) pounds to chest height and carrying them a distance up to fifty (50) feet. Requires lifting items weighing up to one hundred fifty pounds (150) to a height of ten (10) inches. Must climb ladders, stair ramps, and perform general heavy labor for up to ten (10) hours or more a day in occasional various weather conditions. Requires the use of clear speech communicated to others and understanding the speech of another person. Requires the ability to see details of objects within close range.
