The Branch Manager is responsible for managing all branch function and for all aspects of new business development including development of new branch deposits, loans, and relationships. The Branch Manager is also responsible for attaining established goals through active participation and execution of call programs and participation in community affairs to increase visibility and enhance new and existing business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for promoting the sales and service culture and administration and efficient daily operation of a full service branch office, including operations, compliance, lending, product sales, member service, and security and safety.
- Oversees all branch employees through effective organizing, coaching, scheduling, counseling, appraising, and hiring and/or terminating, in cooperation with the Human Resources department and Assistant Vice President Retail Member Experience.
- Delegates operations, and back-up as needed to the Assistant Branch Manager.
- Establishes branch goals and performance measurements in cooperation with the senior management and ensures branch performance meets established milestones
- Performs analysis of branch loan production, sales and other data as needed
- Participates in development of new credit union products and services
- Prepares branch budget and provides to Assistant Vice President Retail Member Experience
- Keeps branch staff up to date on all product, service or process changes and developments
- Participates in weekly and monthly meetings
- Attends and participates in credit union days and community events
- Backs up other departmental staff as necessary
- Achieves a minimum of "Satisfactory" rating on internal audits and examinations
- Accomplishes the credit union's mission by completing relevant duties as needed when requested by management or other staff members
- Coordinate all aspects of sales and service delivery with other areas of the organization
- To facilitate superior and continuing customer sales and service
- Responsible to increase branch membership base, deposit base, and loan portfolio
Essential Qualifications:
Qualified candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalency certification. Three (3) to five (5) years of branch administration required, of which two (2) years must be in a leadership role with demonstrated sales success. Business development is preferred. Notary Public certificate required. NMLS-ID required or must be obtained.
- Expertise in sales techniques including cold calling.
- Proficient knowledge of loan application and approval processes
- Advanced knowledge of credit union loan policies as well the following regulations: Truth in Lending, HMDA, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Uniform Commercial Code, HUD, RESPA, Fair Housing Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act as well as lending related laws and other NCUA regulations
- Coaches and mentors Assistant Branch Manager to effectively manage all aspects of the branch operations and retail sales coaching of staff
- Knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, regulations and procedures
- Demonstrated skill in interpreting and applying loan policies and objectives
- Demonstrated computer and software skills

- Demonstrated skill in reporting and summarizing complex financial and statistical data

The compensation range provided is in compliance with state specific laws. Factors that may be used to determine your actual rate of pay include your specific skills, years of experience, and other qualifications.
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
