Position Summary
Oversees the warehouse operations and storage of all inbound and outbound goods across Suja’s Oceanside facilities. Responsible for managing supervisors, teams, and all warehouse operations related to shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions. The manager is accountable for maintaining warehouse safety, production, and service efficiency standards. Ensures accurate data flow through Suja's Warehouse Management ERP system, NetSuite, and RF Smart by utilizing reporting functions to monitor, adjust, and complete transactions as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Directly responsible for all shipping and receiving of raw and finished goods.
- Ensure orders are dispatched and arrive at the appropriate destinations on time and in the correct quantities.
- Lead and develop the warehouse team, optimizing safety, efficiency, productivity, inventory management, and waste control.
- Establish operational procedures such as verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, handling material disposition, and maintaining up-to-date warehouse inventory.
- Communicate warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements, ensuring staff adherence to these standards.
- Ensure full compliance with prescribed QMS, GMPs, and SOP processes.
- Participate in planning the flow of goods from suppliers to production and ultimately to customers.
- Manage and coach logistics professionals to deliver optimal service at minimum cost.
- Oversee all material warehousing activities to support production and customer service.
- Plan the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organize special requirements for certain items, such as chilled goods or allergens.
- Manage teams of workers and handle personnel issues, including recruitment, training, and discipline.
- Ensure planned KPIs for efficiency and performance are met or exceeded.
- Verify data accuracy within the Warehouse Management ERP system (NetSuite/RF Smart).
- Perform data entry to complete transactions in a timely manner.
- Extract reports from NetSuite to support organizational needs.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to support user training and system best practices.
- Document changes to system requirements or operating procedures.
- Assist in reviewing and reconciling system inventory.
- Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through change management processes and best practices.
- Adhere to SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP guidelines when in the plant.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
Job Qualifications
Education:
- Minimum of a high school diploma. A bachelor's degree or trade school education/certification is preferred.
Experience:
- 5 years of warehouse/inventory management experience preferred.
- Experience leading managerial and supervisory-level associates.
- Familiarity with 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
Knowledge:
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse management ERP processes and systems.
- HACCP knowledge is preferred.
- Strong understanding of inventory management processes and systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
- Certified trainer on all material handling equipment per OSHA standards.
Language Skills:
- English fluency is mandatory; bilingual fluency in Spanish is preferred.
Other Skills:
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude in interactions with staff, coworkers, supervisors, buyers, and customers.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
- Familiarity with moving goods packed on pallets or in bins within facilities.

Working and Environmental Conditions
The position requires work in a variety of work environments. Forklift operators will work in a wet refrigerated manufacturing facility with temperatures below 40°F, a dry warehouse environment with temperatures reaching up to 85°F, and/or in freezer warehouse conditions at –10°F. Work areas may be tight and will require continuous exposure to noisy environments exceeding 85 dBA. Strict adherence to safety protocols is mandatory, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toed shoes. The role demands the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and safely.
This position requires forklift certification, operation, and adherence to strict safety protocols to maintain certification and prevent accidents and injuries. Basic knowledge of forklift maintenance, routine inspections, and precise loading/unloading of materials is essential.
Physical Demands
Must be able to stand and walk for the entirety of the shift. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs with continuous motion. Must be able to push/pull 100lbs with continuous motion. Must be able to navigate manufacturing equipment and facilities including repetitive bending, kneeling, reaching over head with both arms, stooping, squatting, and twisting. Must be able to climb ladders and stairs and work at heights when needed. Must be able to regularly use hands to handle, grasp and control objects with good gripping strength and manual dexterity. Must be able to occasionally sit to perform desk work using a computer. Occasional exposure to moving machinery. Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Physical exam.

Compensation
$75k - $85k/DOE
