DataStage (ETL) Production Support Specialist

JRI America, Inc. (a subsidiary of SMBC) is seeking a senior IBM InfoSphere DataStage (ETL) production support specialist with a strong DataStage administration, production support and Unix background to work in the Production Support Group. The candidate for the DataStage (ETL) support position will be responsible for supporting existing and future ETL interfaces using IBM's ETL tool Datastage 11.7.x.
The candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and support of the existing interface DataStage processes. This position will be a key member in JRIA's Application Production Support Team and will support bank critical applications for Europe and North America. They will work with the SMBC ETL development team to assist with deployment, configuration and validation of DataStage code in Release and Production environments adhering to SMBC best practices.

• 5-8 years of DataStage (9x,11x) administration experience
• 5-8 years Oracle experience
• 5-8 years SQL Server applications
• 3-5 years Production ETL Support experience in a high fast pace environment
• Experience with Tivoli Work Load schedule will be a plus
• Experience with MQ, Webservice, XML, Jason, ACH, Complex flat files will be a plus
• IGC ( Business Glossary/Information Catalog) & Information Analyzer will be a plus
• Experience in Unix Shell scripting preferably Korn or Bash shell
• Experience in working in all phases of a full project life cycle including low-level design
• Experience with DataStage parallel and server experience, preferably 11.x
• Experience implementing large data warehouse/ data mart using DataStage ETL tool
• Excellent understanding of data warehouse concepts and experience implementing data warehouse using DataStage ETL tool
• Good knowledge & experience on using IBM QualityStage
• Experience with developing both server and parallel jobs running on a UNIX platform against relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server systems as source and target data environments
• Experience working in all phases of a full project life cycle, including low-level Design
• Strong knowledge of relational and dimensional database concepts
• Experience working with Information Analyzer, Metadata Workbench, Business Glossary (Governance Catalog) is a plus
• Experience using data model as the main document to design and develop the DataStage load process for data warehouse / data mart is a plus
• Experience with cloud-based technologies (Azure, Data factory) is a plus
