Summit Expedited Logistics is hiring for a Sales and Marketing Support Specialist who is looking to grow a career in a fun & high growth third-party logistics provider!  

Position Overview:

SEL is seeking a highly motivated and driven individual with a growth mindset to work for one of the most preeminent and evolving global logistics providers in the industry. In this role you will work closely with management to establish a strong marketing presence in addition to providing the team with the necessary indexing updates.

What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day:

• Responsible for Indexing documents into database to ensure all team members receive the necessary inquires
• Ensure all POD’s are indexed to direct customers to ensure they are included into the distribution lists for Sales team
• Ability to assist and troubleshoot customer concerns, i.e. rate or billing discrepancies
• Exhibits strong analytical background to be able to run various metrics and KPI reports, as needed
• Responsible for all social media inquiries and campaigns; posting news articles and photos
• Collaborates with management in the creation of bi-weekly company newsletters
• Coordinates all company events and volunteer outings
• All other duties as assigned

Other Skills We Hope to See:

• High School / GED, required
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred 
• Minimum of 1 year experience in logistics / freight forwarding
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Prior experience using CRM and TRM systems, preferred
• Ability work and adapt in a high volume, fast paced work environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to develop new ideas and innovative solutions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High attention to details and accuracy
