Job Summary
Summit Laboratories has been providing chemicals and services to the commercial and industrial water treatment market in Colorado since 1986. We have an excellent track record of customer satisfaction, performance, and steady, stable growth.
Our products include chemicals for controlling corrosion, scale, deposits, and microbiological growth in heat exchange systems.
The Water Treatment Technician visits customer sites and ensures that customer systems are minimizing water, fuel, energy, and chemical use, while helping maintain effecient-running chillers and boilers. Consulting service visits include testing water, interpreting chemistry, trending customer data, monitoring performance indicators, minor equipment repair, and communicating results and recommendations to the customer.
The ideal Field Service Technician - Water Treatment will be familiar with mechanical systems (pumps, valves, heat exchange equipment, HVAC concepts) and have customer service experience in past roles.
A technical college degree is preferred, but not necessary.

- The customer base includes commercial building HVAC, general manufacturing, oil and gas, data centers, hospitals, and other similar facilities. The service territory is primarily the Front Range.
A valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation are necessary.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to lift and/or move boxes and containers up to 60 pounds.
Work often performed in boiler and chiller rooms, with limited heat in winter and limited cooling in summer. Occasional work outdoors or on rooftops.
