We continue to grow and are looking for a 1st Shift - Machine Operator who will execute our straightforward and fundamental behaviors!

  • Hourly Rate of Pay: Starting pay $13.50, earn up to $15/hourly after 180 days & based on performance.
  • Job Type : Full-time
  • Hours of Work: Monday - Friday - 9 AM - 5:30 PM OT

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :

  • Demonstrated proficiency in relative level one positions
  • Complete assigned workload according to procedures to meet or exceed department productivity and accuracy standards.
  • Effectively utilize system resources and equipment to process workload.
  • Identify and communicate issues that would negatively impact customer service, safety, team work, and/or the profitability of the company.
  • Operate vehicles per company safety policy and guidelines.
  • Assist other departments and employees as necessary.
  • Based on in-depth knowledge of the operation, assist leadership in the review of departmental procedures to improve efficiency and quality output of the operation. Must be able to identify and suggest resolutions to reoccurring issues.
  • Communicate effectively with all appropriate personnel; Customer Service, Leadership, Sales, Data Entry and other OFC Departments to ensure accuracy of inventory, maximize production / efficiency, minimize errors, and ultimately increase customer service.
  • General description of each position (to include assisting in other duties to support the operation)
    • Putaway 2 – Putaway product from Receiving, Returns, and Retail in prime and bulk locations. Pull product from bulk locations to replenish prime locations.

  • Language Skills – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before employees of organization.
  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability – Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Computer Skills – To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic PC skills, ability to develop knowledge of HP9000 Inventory software and Commands Order processing systems.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – Summit Racing Safe Operator Training
  • Other Skills and Abilities – Experience with RF equipment, automotive knowledge helpful, strong understanding and commitment to customer service

Experience/Education Required: An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Proficient with computers
  • Two to three years of related experience and/or training
