Executive Building Maintenance (EBM) is seeking a Sales Executive to join our team! The Sales Executive will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities through lead development and growing our existing customer base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success, a demonstrated understanding of the market and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with potential leads and key decision makers. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to potential clients creating new sales opportunities for the organization.
Sales Executive Key Responsibilities:
- Build market growth through the following activities to include: prospecting, defining opportunities, negotiating and closing business
- Drive continued growth by joining and attending various industry association meetings and becoming involved in committees to network with potential clients and drive sales opportunities
- Provide reports to senior management as requested
- Maintain strong customer-focused partnerships with account managers and assist as needed
Sales Executive Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) along with 2 to 5 years of sales experience in janitorial and related facility/property management field is required
- Proven experience pursuing sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, referrals etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous experience using a CRM system
- Customer-service oriented and a servant spirit
- Results-oriented and proactive with a desire to achieve and exceed established metrics on a consistent basis
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; must be able to interact effectively articulating the organization’s capabilities and values to both existing and new clients
- Must be self-motivated, possess excellent organizational skills along with the ability to set priorities and multitask as needed
- Knowledge of and experience with commercial buildings and medical facilities preferred
- Knowledge of and experience in the janitorial/facilities service industry is a plus
- Successful completion of post offer background screening process, valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record is required
