Position Description

Job Title: Data Analyst

Reports to: Chief Strategy Office

Location: Boise, ID

Job Summary:

The Entry-Level Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data from various sources, including POS systems, social media platforms, vendor data, demographic information, and more. This role will be crucial in assessing promotions and evaluating the day-to-day performance of our car wash operations. The ideal candidate will have a knack for transforming complex data sets into actionable insights and presenting them in an understandable and compelling manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Management:

· Gather data from various sources, including POS systems, social media, vendor interfaces, and demographic datasets.

· Ensure data accuracy and integrity, correcting any discrepancies.

· Store and manage data in a structured and organized manner.

Data Analysis & Interpretation:

· Assess the effectiveness of promotions and their impact on sales and customer satisfaction.

· Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly car wash performance metrics.

· Recognize patterns and trends to provide actionable insights.

· Create dashboards and visualizations to display key performance indicators.

Reporting:

· Compile data findings into comprehensive reports, ensuring data is presented in a digestible format.

· Provide regular updates to the management team on performance metrics and other key indicators.

· Recommend strategies and improvements based on the data analysis.

Collaboration:

· Work closely with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to understand their data needs and deliver timely solutions.

· Share insights and findings with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Advanced understanding of data analytics tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python/R, Tableau).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory):

• Prior experience working with high-volume transactional and customer data, POS systems.
• Familiarity with subscription-based industries

Salary:

65k – 85k, based on experience.
