GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Responsible, professional, and administrative position involved in evaluating and improving practices and data associated with the services supported by the Data Analytics Division. Requires the application of technical knowledge in public safety to ensure a continuous quality assurance atmosphere.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Performs specialized and technical clerical and record-keeping work. Work is performed with a minimum of supervision.
- Inputs various data into computer using word-processing based software or a word processor. Accesses, inputs, and retrieves information from a computer.
- Gathers, analyzes, and interprets data to prepare and disseminate pertinent reports to internal and external customers.
- Develops, implements, and monitors continuous organizational performance improvement
- Responsible for quality assurance activities, including review of reports for completeness and compliance with adopted policies, contracts, and procedures.
- Reviews and reports the organization's compliance with its established Standard of Operational Coverage.
- Prepares and completes required reports, keeping information regarding patients confidential. Completes and submits required quality assurance documentation.
- Works with leadership team members to perform quality assurance activities, including monitoring the effectiveness of programs by measuring outcomes, monitoring the quality of service, and providing recommendations for improvement or the addition of new programs.
- Conducts research and analysis of current and future public safety issues and trends as assigned.
- Manage and maintain accreditation records as assigned to ensure accreditation compliance.
- Manage, create, and maintain accreditation-reporting status and track responsibility for each standard as assigned.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the BOCC's Personnel Policies and Procedures and specific programs as assigned by the Data Analytics Manager.
- Employees hired on or after February 1, 2016, must be a tobacco-free person, both on and off the job, for at least one (1) year immediately preceding application and maintain the same tobacco-free status throughout the term of employment.
- Face tattoos (from ear to ear and hairline of the forehead to the bottom of the chin) are prohibited.
- In case of an emergency or crisis situation (hurricane, flood, etc.), the position must respond/perform recovery duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
- Maintains regular physical attendance during normal work hours at one of the county's offices or work facilities with the ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
