Job Description:
Design, develop, support, deploy and/or test advanced technology solutions of small scale that are high-quality, innovative, efficient, creative, scalable, adaptable, dynamic, fully performing and comply with all standards and best practices in support of business and Client outcomes and objectives. Work independently and applies advanced engineering skills, tools, practices, and techniques to all deliverables. Exhibits advanced understanding of core engineering concepts such as: development, testing, source control, security, performance, data, DevSecOps, system administration, agile planning, and focused on learning more about these domains. Ability to focus on task at hand, follow-through on prescribed plan with ability to be flexible and think under pressure. Highly motivated team player with a strong desire to learn, grow, and continuously improve.
Preferred skills
Advanced engineering, system administration and software development (programming) foundation
Proven ability to apply advanced testing skills, tools/frameworks, techniques, processes, and principles to software solutions in support of defect management, automation, diagnosis and reporting in a simple production environment; writes and executes test plans
Solid knowledge of performance testing coding best practices, and load and performance testing
Effectively utilize multiple software development and deployment methodologies, processes, development best practices and DevOps/DevSecOps principles
Solid understanding of application security and security best practices
Participate in code reviews, ability to sign off on small features, and validate vulnerability fixes
Ability to write functional specifications for small features

Responsibilities

Execute full software and product development life cycle (SDLC)
Develop advanced deliverables to deliver technical solution(s) seeking business and Client feedback
Write well-designed, testable, flexible, and scalable code and/or technology solutions
Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
Integrate advanced software components into a fully functional software system
Develop advanced software verification (testing) plans and quality assurance procedures
Document and maintain technical solution functionality
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
Deploy programs and evaluate business and Client feedback
Ensure software is updated with latest features
Participate in code reviews, ability to approve small features, and validate vulnerability fixes
Ability to write functional specifications for small features

If you are a Colorado resident, the salary range for this position is $74,900 - $112,400 annually.
If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $88,400 - $132,700 annually.
We consider various factors in determining actual pay including your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to salary, this position is eligible for incentive awards based on individual and business performance as well as a broad range of competitive benefits.
