Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. Sun River Health is currently seeking a part-time Data Lead to join our team.
The Data Lead directly supervises use of electronic applications for All of Us, (e.g., REDCap, eClinicalWorks, and Cognos) by the Data Specialist, initiates application updates, and ensures adherence to all security protocols. The Data Lead ensures all EHR and operational deliverables are met on a regular basis through collaboration with the Program Manager, EHR Lead, and through oversight of the Data Specialist's various responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for a Data Lead:
- Demonstrating expertise in applications used by All of Us, including eCW, REDCap, Cognos, and other program-specific platforms.
- Training the Data Specialist in all aspects of data management, security, and user support
- Performing audits and/or observations of the Data Specialist and ensuring adherence to all privacy and security protocols
- Overseeing internal databases used to support ongoing process improvement and the dissemination of monthly, quarterly, and other reports.
- Supervising reporting deadlines and liaising with internal and external partners to ensure all deliverables are successfully met
- Coordinate with leadership across multiple departments (Informatics, IT), external organizations (NIH, the MITRE Corporation), and the AoURP team, including the Data Specialist, to sustain and expand program operations.
- Modeling, training, and overseeing the execution of all EHR transmission processes, including file generation, quality assurance and validation, submission, and error correction.
- Initiation and supervision of data management workflows by the Data Specialist, in collaboration with Program Manager and EHR Lead.
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum Work Related Experience: 1-2 years
Preferred Specialized Skills & Knowledge: Bilingual in both English and Spanish (orally and written)
