What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook position at Sun Terrace Prosser?
Sun Morning 5:45 AM - 1:30 PM
Monday - Thursday 11:00AM - 7:00 PM
As a cook, you will prepare and serve meals, oversee foodservice operation, and ensures adequate food and supplies are available.
You will:
- Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe.
- Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made on proper form
- Clean and maintains a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas
- Comply with state sanitation codes
- Maintain inventory control, places food orders, verifies that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately
- Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed
You Currently:
- Can obtain Food Handler's card. Meet all mandatory health requirements by State regulations
- Typical candidates have one year of cooking experience.
- Read, write, speak and understand English.
