What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ski & Snowboard Storage Valet position at Sun Valley Resort?
The Ski & Snowboard Storage Valet assists guests with storing skis and snowboards for overnight storage in the Ski & Snowboard Storage Hut at the base of River Run. In addition, the employee oversees the security of guests’ skis and snowboards daily during operating hours between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. This position is either full-time or part-time, between 3-5 days per week.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Give the guest a ski/snowboard valet ticket when the ski/snowboard is dropped off in the afternoon, then store the ski/snowboard in storage racks.
- Gather ski/snowboard for guests in the morning when guest presents valet ticket.
- Ring in transactions for guests about the length of stay of the guests.
- Tags skis/snowboards needing repair or service.
- Adjusts skis/snowboards to suit the customer.
- Explains the operation of skis/snowboards and the features of specific skis/snowboards.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
- While performing the duties of this job’s responsibilities, the employee is regularly required to walk, use hands, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear.
- Must safely move objects up to approximately 45 pounds about the workplace.
- Knowledge of Skis and Snowboards is a plus.
- Minimal computer skills are needed.
Salary : $30,300 - $38,300
