POSITION: Route Reconciliation Coordinator
OVERVIEW: Responsible for all activities and tasks associated with route accounting reconciliation. This position reports to the Assistant Controller.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete reconciliation of all delivery routes including EFT remittance and postings.
- Research and resolve driver over/shorts related to cash handling and product shortages, and log daily errors for payroll processing
- Review settlement exception reports and resolve issues
- Review and verify end of day driver paperwork is accurate and complete
- Assist with scanning and transmitting incoming checks to the bank
- Run daily route status report to verify complete delivery route settlement
- Ensure driver paperwork includes proof of deliveries and is in compliance with state beverage laws
- Maintain cash reconciliation and driver deposit log
- Track daily sales
- Any other task associated with this position and as determined by Assistant Controller
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to utilize and integrate data from various sources, accurately interpret data and appropriately apply findings
- PC proficiency, knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and experience with accounting software and online platforms are required
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, are required
Flexibility and willingness to learn and perform a variety of accounting tasks as needed
