Renewable Energy Consultant Responsibilities

  • Perform in-home consultations with customers, building trust and rapport with prospective customers.
  • Providing accurate in-home needs assessments and corresponding analysis.
  • Resolving customer concerns and overcoming challenges.
  • Participating in ongoing training, development and certifications.
  • Pursue multiple outbound marketing initiatives including canvassing, door knocking, referrals and personal marketing to source new customers.
  • Update company systems with all pertinent data throughout the sales process.
  • Effectively communicate and maintain customer relationships. Keep customers updated on project status with the support of internal concierge and operations teams.
  • Be able to use a variety of computer or app based systems to develop and maintain details for the sale and company support teams.

  • Renewable Energy Consultant Requirements
  • Previous sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be flexible working weekend and evening appointments.
  • Must be able to self generate leads.
  • Must have transportation.
  • Willing to work in an outdoor setting.
  • Highly persuasive, self-disciplined and honest.
  • Great problem solving and communication skills.
  • Must have a great work ethic and be coachable.
  • Must have a cell phone with data and internet
