Description
Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Financial Analyst I in Scottsdale, AZ. The Financial Analyst I will have responsibility for administration of the company’s primary financial reporting system, including daily maintenance/uploads, periodic modifications to structure, and verification of accuracy of data produced from the system. This role will also assist with executing the annual budget at the cost center and GL account level, with responsibility for ensuring assumptions and output are properly reflected in the system.
This role has the option for a full-time or hybrid remote status.
- Managing core financial reporting system (Oracle)
- Continuous evaluation of opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting
- Model and input detailed financial budgets for all departments and analyze results
- Execute monthly analysis of operating results in comparison to budget
- Produce monthly Senior Leadership financial report package, including review of output to ensure accuracy of data provided to Senior Leadership
Education / Experience Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA a plus
- Experience working with databases and query experience
- Strong MS Excel skills, high emphasis on financial modeling
