Overview:

Sunflower Communities is seeking a skilled and compassionate Floating Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide healthcare services to our assisted living facilities, as well as other healthcare facilities in Western and Southwest Minnesota. As a Floating Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and attention.

Floating Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

· Provide skilled nursing care to patients in assisted living facilities and other healthcare facilities in Western and Southwest Minnesota.

· Perform a comprehensive assessment of patients’ health and develop individualized care plans.

· Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

· Monitor patients’ vital signs and provide necessary interventions.

· Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients’ needs are met.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

· Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.

· Adhere to all healthcare policies and procedures.

· Ensure that all equipment and supplies are maintained in good working order.

Floating Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

· Current RN license in Minnesota.

· Flexibility to work variable hours and travel to different healthcare facilities.

· Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.

· Experience in geriatric care is preferred.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
