Prestige Care Center of Fairfield seeks a Certified Dietary Manager to direct the operations of the food and nutrition services department with Positive Leadership Skills
- Assist in implementing procedures for the safe operation of kitchen equipment
- Place all food and kitchen supply orders
- Inspect food storage rooms, fridges and freezers for upkeep, supply control, sanitation and properly labeled/dated
- Supervise dietary staff and coordinate dietary staff schedules for cooks, dietary aides and dishwasher
- Assist in planning regular and special diet menu's with the Registered Dietician Consultant
- Participate in effective communications with Administrator, Nursing Department Staff, and Activity Director in planning food service programs and activities
- Meet with resident's to establish likes and dislikes as well as preferences for person centered resident care & satisfaction
- Participate in resident care plan meetings and resident assessment functions
