- Monitors and supervises operation of assigned work sites.
- Provide training and support to the ABA Home Manager and Lead RBT. Fill in as acting manager when both ABA Home Manager and Lead RBT are absent.
- Provide 24/7 on call support to ABA Home Managers and Lead RBT. Answer all calls within one hour.
- Ensures that all PWS medical appointments are scheduled and attended by ABA Home Manager and/or Lead RBT in a required time frame.
- Check medications and MARs for all people supported a minimum of once weekly.
- Ensures compliance with medical requirements by acting as a liaison between the ABA department and Nursing team.
- Provides oversight and assists with organization of Medical Books.
- Prepares for and attends Regional Center QE Nurse visits for all PWS. Completes HIPS with Director of Nursing and ABA Quality Assurance Specialist.
- Review completed Food stamp and Medicaid Applications for all PWS before submitting to the Waiver Business Manager.
- Review and approve Service Delivery Logs (SDLs) for all staff of ABA homes and check for missing SDLs for assigned work sites.
- Supports ABA Home Manager with employee performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Completes site safety checklists monthly and quarterly.
- Assists with and is present for all intakes and moves within their caseload.
- Ensures accurate records for PWS and staff are being maintained in each site.
- Attends all ISP meetings. Works with the Analyst and conducts final review of ISPs and provides strategies for the completion of PWS outcomes.
- Provides coverage when necessary and approves any PTO requests.
- Reviews the Appendix B reports sent by Quality Assurance Specialist and takes the applicable steps to resolve any outstanding issues within 30 days.
- Assists with developing agenda and attends all staff meetings for each site supervised.
- Attends monthly ABA meeting, monthly POD meetings and all professional development meetings.
- Ensures PWS are making satisfactory progress towards their goals as outlined in their annual plans.
- Oversees and serves as back-up for training of RBTs and Lead RBT.
- Provide projected schedule weekly to Quality Assurance Specialist and complete office hours once weekly.
- Inform Human Resources of all employee injuries and ensure required paperwork is submitted.
- All other duties and special projects as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field or two years directly related experience.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Must have RBT certification or be working towards certification.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal and written communication through electronic documentation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, problem solve and function well in a high-paced (at times stressful) environment.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance, use of personal vehicle required.
- Acceptable background checks
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to stand, walk, and sit four (4) hours at a time.
- Repetitive bending and reaching up to two (2) hours a day.
- Able to lift 25 pounds from floor to waist.
