Senior Registrar – Sunrise Day Camp – Greater Philadelphia
Sunrise Day Camps Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing back the magic of childhood to children with cancer, is looking for a senior registrar to oversee registration for our newest Summer Day Camp in Voorhies, New Jersey, opening in July 2022.
Sunrise Day Camps are the only full-summer day camps in the world for children with cancer and their siblings, offered free of charge to nearly 2000 campers each summer. In addition to being a full summer day camp, Sunrise offers year-round programs and events, both in and out of the hospital setting
Sunrise is a joyful place where children with cancer and their siblings can enjoy the magic of childhood, while continuing treatment at their home hospitals and returning each night to the comfort of their own beds.
Job Description:
Sunrise-Greater Philadelphia is looking for a full-time year-round experienced registrar who can engage our families in the following ways:
- Work directly with all camper families to register their children for camp as well as year-round services
- Be responsible for maintaining and tracking all facets of registration, medical forms, enrollment forms, etc.
- Provide data entry, reports and statistical management
- Effectively coordinate with and work as a liaison between departments (marketing, development, hospital programs, etc.) and camps
- Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing reports, summarizing information, and identifying trends and needs
- Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems
- Work closely with Camp Director to perform various administrative functions
- Represent the values and mission of the organization
- Maintain communication with camper families, staff and donors
The Successful Candidate must have:
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (
- Stellar organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication, presentation and written skills
- Strong listening skills/empathy
- Analytical thinking and problem resolution skills
- 3-5 years’ experience in an administrative role
- Experience with registration/database systems, particularly CampMinder, is a plus
- Experience in a medical setting is a plus
- Spanish fluency is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time in-person
Pay: $41,500 per year
