Your Impact
The Survey Department Manager provides both strategic and operational support to service center managers throughout the organization. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial drive to work with our team!. Sunrise uses the latest technology including Trimble GPS & Robots, AutoCad Civil3D, DJI UAVs, and Leica Scanning platforms. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Calculations and field measurements of Land Boundary Surveys: Including property line surveys, ALTA surveys, retracement surveys, cadastral surveys, etc.
- Preparation for Engineering Designs: Proposed Design- Data Gathering, non-land boundary surveys, utility and ROW surveys and document research.
- Field/Office Calculations and planning for Construction Staking: Planning and Layout for control of construction work. Import / Export drawings, CAD files, electronic data for field operations, staking, grading, etc.
- Preparation and drafting of Topographic Surveys: Production of contour maps, other topographic information, utility maps, etc.
- Preparation of Land Boundary Survey Data for Publishing and/or Recordation. Gather documents, records research, etc.
- Office Quality Control Reviews for Engineering Designs; constructability, plan and profile reviews, dimensional checks, coordinate systems and datum review, etc.
- Field Quality Control for Construction; layout checks, accuracy, tolerances, means and methods verification on-site.
Requirements for this position
- 10 years in field surveying and survey management positions
- Ability to work in the office and at project locations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Compensation Range
$80,000.00 - $125,000.00
