Electronics Soldering Technician

Company Overview: Sunrise System Inc. is currently looking to hire for an Electronics Soldering Technician role in Fridley, MN 55432 with one of our leading Engineering clients.

Job Title: Electronics Soldering Technician

Duration: 06 Months Contract with the possibilities of extension

Location: Fridley, MN 55432 (On-site)

Required Skills:

· Perform and guide less experienced technicians in assembly, set up, troubleshooting, testing and documentation of test results for testing articles ( genset , sub-system, etc.).

· Education: 4 year; 2yr degree minimum in engineering or related field from an accredited program is required.

· Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience

· Intermediate to advanced technical experience in the following:

· ------o Creating test setups

· ------o Building and assemble of complex wiring harnesses

· ------o Instrumentation skills and knowledge.

· Advanced knowledge of diagnoses and test cell problems, maintenance and calibration of test equipment.

· Knowledge and experience in basic electronics, power electronics, electric circuits and systems with control techniques applied to switched-mode power converters.

· Working experience in electronics industry – automotive preferred.

· Familiarity with semiconductor devices.

· Practical skills in electronic engineering.

· Troubleshooting skills in basic electronics.

· Good soldering skills.

· Proficiency in working on electrical system setup and PCB-level electronics.

· Experience in handling test equipment such as power supplies, digital scopes and power analyzers.

· Ability to independently build subsystems such as inverters/converters and controls, set up and conduct validation tests and create documentation.
