Marketing Associate

Sunrise Technologies is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Associate to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in driving our marketing initiatives and ensuring our brand is represented effectively.

Location: This position works out of Sunrise Technologies’ headquarters in Winston Salem, NC on a hybrid schedule; remote Mondays & Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation Support : Monitor various reports to identify, research, qualify, assign, and follow-up with leads from marketing campaigns, events, and networking activities.
• Business Development Support : Engage with diverse audiences, from technical staff to C-level executives, using tools like Outlook, Marketo, Dynamics 365, LinkedIn, and Teams.
• Research and Data Support: Maintain a CRM database of accounts, contacts, and leads, ensuring completeness of information to support accurate monthly reports, marketing program effectiveness, and sales development activities.
• Marketing Operations Support: Perform production activities (website updates and editing collateral), promotion activities (paid advertising, social, email, PR, and direct mail), and other tasks as assigned.
• Event Management and Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute conferences, user group meetings, and other industry events, including registrations, reservations, and shipping.
• Networking Events: Represent the company at industry networking events, building relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new opportunities, and generating leads.
• On-Camera Presence: Maintain and engaging on-camera presence to effectively communicate the company’s value proposition.
• Project Management: Drive marketing projects forward, ensuring key milestones are met and all activities are effectively coordinated and completed on schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field (preferred GPA: 3.5 )
• 1 years of marketing experience preferably at an apparel, retail, or technology company
• Assertive, ambitious, personable, and high emotional intelligence
• Excellent written and verbal communication, proofreading, organization, and online research skills
• A proactive, self-starter with a passion for networking and relationship building
• Comfortable with public speaking and presenting on camera
• Ability to travel 25% to trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings
Must react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
