Program Manager

Overview

Sunrun is looking for a dynamic Program Manager, Build Partner to drive the Build Partner organization’s process transformation in a highly collaborative and cross functional role. The Program Manager will be responsible for setting the vision for an effective process, execute on a plan of action, and continually improve upon the established process.

This high visibility role will work cross functionally with multiple teams including Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Software/IT, and Finance. Projects will include but are not limited to: process advancements, standards and practices, templates, and more. KPIs revolve around successful completion and on time delivery. High level organizational, interpersonal and technical skills will be demanded for this position. The work environment is fast paced, fluid and exciting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transformative design, development, deployment of an optimized process
• Strategize and lead program design & planning; mobilize and develop teams; direct on-time, quality delivery of new process
• Own Build Partner economics, scope, risk, and schedule
• Advance operational maturity through guidance and application of best-in-class processes, techniques, and tools
• Ensure data driven solutions 
• Apply leadership and engagement skills to facilitate buy-in and getting to shared goals while ensuring that long-term transformation priorities are addressed and deliverables reflect an optimal balance of completeness, timeliness, usability, and technical quality
• Build and lead a process management team 
• Identify and implement key metrics and monitor to ensure project and initiatives deliverables are achieved

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years related experience including;
• Project management experience
• Process engineering and improvement
• Documentation creation and management
• Data analysis preferred
• Project Management certification (PMP or other) is a plus.
• Exceptional ability to build relationships; data-driven and action-oriented; enthusiastic and motivated; and detail-oriented while managing several work-streams.
• Candidate must be self-driven with an acute sense of urgency.
• Outstanding organization skills and discipline to build project plans with the ability to also look at the macro view subjectively.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact appropriately with all levels of leadership; Strong interpersonal skills
• Sense of humor and team mentality is a must!

• Ability to perform normal office duties
• Ability to operate office equipment including computers and determine accuracy of work
• Ability to interact and participate in meetings
