Job Description
Full time and flexible part time shifts available. Entry level to experienced applicants encouraged to apply. Seasonal shifts available for college students.
Job Description:
- Excel in a fast paced customer oriented environment
- Operate a cash register, and work with computer and paper catalog systems
- Work with current sales promotions and ability to process rebates and registrations
- Build/maintain store displays; keep items stocked and priced
- Are able to share knowledge about auto part features, benefits and warranty info
- Motivated to Train and Learn
- Establish and maintain outstanding relations with NAPA customer
- Provide efficient and professional delivery service in a safe and timely manner
- Maintain customer satisfaction
- Maintain professional attitude, conduct, and appearance
- Maintain accurate invoicing records and cash drawer security
- Process TAMS point-of-sale transactions properly.
- Execute store policies and procedures in all transactions.
Additionally, you may be asked to:
- Assist with checking in stock orders and stocking products on shelves
- Clean and perform routine maintenance functions for the delivery vehicle and the store
- Answer the telephone on occasion, participate in training
- Capable of lifting and moving merchandise of up to 60 pounds
- Able to move engine blocks, core barrels, and other heavy equipment using moving aids designed to move such items, including hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc.
- Able to bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves (eight feet) with use of stool or ladder when necessary.
Qualifications
Must be reliable, drug free, have a positive attitude, and willing to work as part of a team. We can teach the rest.
- Must be functionally literate, capable of reading and writing legibly; and capable of understanding and recognizing part numbers and line codes, able to accurately reference part numbers and applications from an extensive catalog.
- Must be capable of lifting and moving parts and boxes of up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to move engine blocks and other heavy equipment with moving aids designed to move such items including hand trucks, dollies, motorized cart, pallet jacks, etc.
- Must be able to repeatedly bend or stoop to ground level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves (8 feet) with the use of stool or ladder when necessary.
- Must be able to work on their feet (stand or walk) for their assigned work shifts.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Perform associated duties as assigned by management.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test. We do not test for marijuana for this position.
