Large Construction Company looking for a Safety Manager that will be responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s safety policies which include risk management, loss prevention, and safety training and assuring compliance with all related agencies.
The position consists of performing regular preventative inspections on current projects for Builders and Developers, Assist with Organizing and Developing systems to enhance safety, provide comprehensive training and education to company personnel and clientele, and promote a safe working culture.
Required Skills and Experience
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equal Qualification, Preferred.
- OSHA 500 Certification or equal Qualification, Preferred.
- Experience of 3-5 Years within construction industry, Preferred
- Excellent verbal and written English communication abilities
- Strong communication and organization
- Frequent exposure to the elements
- Valid driver’s license
- Spanish Speaking not required, Preferred
- Proficient in observing, inspecting, and reporting on the implementation of Occupational Health and safety as it relates to the construction business. Example (OSHA 300 log, ect..., Audits)
- Proficient in Nevada regulation and requirements
